Jason Lanox, born in 1986, grew up surrounded with music. Bottle-fed as a baby with jazz, soul and funk he gets his first piano lessons and then, fascinated by the hip-hop culture, he optimizes new affinities with producing dance-floor music, synthesizers, drum-machines and Djing.
Developing his own sound he shoots right into the middle of his surroundings, which quickly leads him to perform live-sets in the Dutch dance-scene. Step by step, his music is internationally recognized, based on his technical efficiency and ability to communicate with the public during his live performances and DJ-sets.
His forthcoming album release on HENK recordings; (2 ×12”) 'Burning Every Bridge That I Cross To Find Some Beautiful Place To Get Lost’, is a sublime follow-up from his previous release on 'BangBang!’. Flirting with a deeper personal touch and cinematic feel, his music is both tainted with funky notes and matched up darkness.
