"SEX ×TECHNOLOGY = THE FUTURE" ( JG BALLARD) Wires are the arteries of the modern world, connecting and supplying practically everything that defines our lives. We channel our desires like an electrical current through our machines. Musically, the concept is about drawing together the different strands, from techno and minimal to house to ambient and experimental. There is a common thread that runs through these different genres, linking them like the roots of a tree. This diversity is what keeps everything fresh for me. The 'Raudive' project explores techno and minimal, further releases will feature 'Atlas', a new project created by myself and co-producer Tommy Gillard which moves into more detroit house territory. Later there will be music from 'Zov Zov' music that references Pan Sonic, Coil and Sunno))). I also i plan to include 'Matanuki' , a tech dub project from Jamie Croyden and David Kerry. The first release features Raudive with "Total Pure ep". The record begins with a slow beat drone intro, sonically influenced by suicide, sonic boom and cabaret voltaire. the second track, continues this attitude with a techno minimal track that features echoing vocals and a acid bass riff. the third track, "tunnel" is dark tech-house with low piano chords, overalaid with organ stabs that slowly build the tension. lastly "entrance" finishes the journey with metal klanging noises in oceans of reverb and a heavy piano chord sinking into the depths or sound.
