Jonas Kopp - Curle EP

16 April 2010

Jonas Kopp first impressed the DJ-league and techno fans worldwide in 2007 with his incredible release on Spectral 43. In the meantime he released more amazing records on labels such as Weave, Vinyl Club and CMYK Musik. If we would have to describe his debut release on Curle - going stronger than ever these days with contributions from Thomas Brinkmann, Efdemin, Soulphiction, Anthony Collins and Martyn - we could say it sounds like Brothers' Vibe meets Radio Slave, at Berghain. Sounds tempting, isn't it? www.curle.be FEEDBACK DJ feedback: Adam Beyer: Deliric is great, will play and support! Tiga: love Deliric! Joris Voorn: Great tracks! Nice mix of classic techno and deep house grooves.. Troy Pierce: Tirados is really cool, will definitely play for the haunted househeads! Efdemin: nice soulful techno! will play! Laurent Garnier: another great release on the label... will play Tirados a lot. Great stuff! Konrad Black: Super cool record! I'm liking both tracks... will play for sure. Zander VT: Nice punchy tracks with Tirados being my favourite right now. Sven Anthony Collins: Deliric is super cool! Dan Curtin: yes, I like these two tracks and will work them both in! Paco Osuna: nice EP! Pablo Bolivar: Nice release like always, i like this raw percusion, Deliric is the one for me! Mugwump Geoffroy: no shitty horns, no fake house groove... i reckon we have here a plain, fucking good, hypnotic, modern techno record, especially in Tirados. happy days! Darko Esser: Both tracks are absolutely brilliant!!! Totally feeling the dark melancholy and the vocals give the trax an irie, yet comforting feel. Will stay in the box for a long time, thnx! Press support: Philip Sherburne (The Wire/Resident Advisor): storming! the strings on Tirados are great... looking forward to playing these out. thanks! Benoit Carretier (Tsugi magazine France): nice EP! Kim Mathijs (Stubru, Belgian national radio): makes me think of Radio Slave and that's a damn good compliment! nice tracks, both!
